As we are all aware, capitalism does it’s best to keep us too busy to struggle against it. That’s where we’ve found ourselves over the past few weeks. Between work issues/short staffing/unexpected complications and a host of other issues, we have fallen behind on our “Revolutionary Left Book Club” episodes, new guests, and a good chunk of our social media presence. This is compounded by Fascistbook’s platform showing fewer and fewer people our posts. A lot of our future Facebook posting will be pertaining to promotion of YouTube streams, general leftist shitposting, and sharing information.
As of next week, we will have a Discord server operating. Right now we’re getting all the admins familiarized and we will begin the rollout to our Patrons this weekend, with a rollout the following week. Check our social media (or here) for updates. This will give us a platform to discuss things freely without having to worry about Zuckerberg’s wrath. (hah) We also hope it will be more personal!
We may have to tweak the streaming schedule when we’re able to come back full strength. If there are more issues streaming to Facebook, future streams will be on YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter, and we’ll make sure to keep this website more helpful then it has been.
As you may have noticed from the streams themselves, we’ve been working to building out our staff. We can always use more writers, researchers, anchors, on the ground reporters, social media admins, and more! Obviously, we’re all volunteers who put our time into this because we BELIEVE IN THE CAUSE!
Also, fellow leftist activists, we want to know what YOU want to see! We’re receptive to feedback! If you want to show people what’s happening in your area, we want to platform it! Let us know why it’s important! This can be Mutual Aid, Disaster Relief, Community Organizing, Education groups, Political movements, or whatever!
